gender * d * rama

Having their 5th anniversary the Gender Studies have chosen gender * d * rama as this year’s motto.
It is taking place on saturday, october the 18th 2008 from 12 a.m. on at Statthaus Böcklerpark in Kreuzberg.
A wide range of workshops will be offered, mostly concerning current controversies within the Gender Studies, but also (short-) movies and a platform discussion dealing with the topic "What are Gender Studies?".
For the first time the "Lange Nacht" will include an exhibition, where artists will be showing their works, dealing with the gender category.
The programm will be rounded off with performances and bands. Followed by party.

conversations - performances - queer electronics
The protagonists: Artists, theorists, activists and musicians.
The venue: The market place of a supermarket.
