Testimonial Cultures – Témoigner pour Agir

Témoigner pour Agir is a visual art exhibition by local and international artists who use art to convey their experience as people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex, queer, non-binary or trans, who live with HIV, or who have experience with sex work.

Témoigner pour Agir also features meet-the-artist events, lectures, guided tours and study days on the exhibition themes. And it’s all free!

The exhibition is on at the Maison de la culture Frontenac, in Montréal, from November 29th, 2017, to January 21st, 2018.

My participation in the exhibition and the connected research phase was made possible with a travel grant by the ifa Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen
